But after back-to-back losing seasons, Hankins has hit the transfer portal. He was a member of the All Conference-USA FreshmanTeam in 2020 and the All Conference-USA Second Team in 2022 Rushing for over 800 yards on 157 attempts (5.2 yards per carry) along with five touchdowns, Hankins contributed to a majority of the Miner's success on the ground this year. While watching Hankins you can see he is a bruiser coming from the backfield, almost like a wrecking ball. Hankins looks for contact. At 226 pounds, it is hard to find a linebacker in the country who would want to do the Oklahoma drill with this back.
